Sulfolane and REACH

End of 2008, the only European Sulfolane producer, Evonik Degussa Stanlow Ltd, closed its plant in the UK and exited the market.

Guanghua bought the customer list and toxicological and environmental data package from Evonik which covers most of the requirements under REACH and is the basis for Guanghua’s registration which has been submitted for the > 1000 T tonnage band.

Till 2012, we finished REACH registration under the help of our European partner and REACH consultant.
